wow so it's been awhile.

Things are pretty crazy around here, but good. School is going well so far I think. It's pretty challenging though with three classes.

The kids are doing great! Caleb is my little helper, he's so mature and responsible for a 4 year old. He's the one that keeps an eye on the younger two while I'm doing dishes and yells if they go into the bathroom (Jake can open the bathroom door, but he just gets into stuff and lets Katie in there to get into stuff) so I can run and chase them out again. He also comes running when I call to remove one or both of the younger two if they are bugging me while I am in the bathroom.

Jake is not ready to potty train yet, realistically I shouldn't even be hoping for it since he is not even three yet. However I have found that I am just really tired of changing his diapers. It is difficult not to get frustrated at him when he takes his diaper off because it is poopy, because it is good that he doesn't like sitting in his own feces but then I am the one that has to follow behind him with soap and water to clean up the poop mess he inevitably leaves behind. It is so exhausting! He is on the very verge though of being able to tell when he has to go and as soon as he can he is SO getting potty trained. Forcibly if necessary.

Katie is such a sweetheart, she's in love with mommy to the nth degree which does get annoying sometimes when I'm trying to clean up Jake's poop mess and she's trying to sit on my lap. She's my lone napper which is GREAT as she's also the one that always manages to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. She can nod and shake her head and does so appropriately. She's started to learn how to *dance* and thinks it's the best fun ever.

Roland and I are doing okay, not *great* but okay. Things have a tendency to fall apart around the time I am about to start my period which is normal but frustrating all the same. Speaking of periods, I am so thrilled that I have managed to successfully avoid pregnancy so far, although it does seem sort of weird to be sitting on *this* side of the fence. Those many cycles of disappointing BFN's and unwanted periods seem so far away, and yet so close. I find myself taking risks while TTA that no other sane person would, but seriously, the other three times HAD to be flukes right? I mean we really aren't all *that* fertile, yk? We are still solidly in the TTA camp for now, as we are both unemployed. DH suffers currently from baby fever since Katie is growing so fast now. We are going to take stock late this summer and decide if we want to continue to avoid or try for #4. I am of two minds on that issue so for now our *default* is TTA.

Hopefully my next update will be sooner than my last several, I have several blogs that I'm trying to keep up with and failing miserably!
